Sept. 2, 2008 — Concord, New Hampshire — Today, Preti Flaherty
announced that attorneys John M. Sullivan and Simon C. Leeming, both Directors
practicing from the firm’s office in Concord, N.H., have been selected by their
peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2009
(Copyright 2007 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.). Since its
inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the
definitive guide to legal excellence in the United States.
Woodward/White will announce the list of selected Maine and Massachusetts attorneys later this fall.
John Sullivan was selected for his work in Bankruptcy and
Creditor-Debtor Rights Law and Corporate Law. He is certified by The American
Board of Certification (ABC) in Business Bankruptcy. John is a graduate of
Washington and Lee University School of Law and
Bowdoin College.
Simon Leeming was selected for his work in Real Estate Law. In
addition to his legal practice, he serves as the New Zealand Honorary Consul to
New England. Simon is a graduate of
Suffolk University Law School
and Boston
University.
One of Northern New England’s largest law
firms, Preti Flaherty has built a sophisticated practice with an international
reach, dedicated service and multi-state litigation experience. Because Best
Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which 18,000 leading
attorneys throughout the country cast more than a half million votes on the
legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties, and because lawyers are
not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best
Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine
has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in
practice.”
