Bethany K. Beausang joined Preti Flaherty in November 2004. Her practice
focuses on health law. Beth launched her legal practice in 2003, practicing
independently with a focus on estate planning.
Beth served for five years in Washington, D.C. in a variety of legislative
positions, including as Senior Legislative Assistant to U.S.
Representative Thomas H. Allen where she advised the Congressman on a number of
domestic policy areas including health care and education.
During law school, Beth was a legal intern in Washington, working in the
Health Care Fraud Practice Group of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, and in
the Legal and Risk Management Office of the Children’s National Medical Center.
Beth is a member of the Maine and American Bar Associations and the American
Health Lawyers Association.
Beth is a graduate of the University of Maine and received her Juris Doctor
degree with a certificate in Health Law from The Catholic University of America,
Columbus School of Law. She is a native of South Portland, Maine, where she
currently resides with her husband, John Gosselin.
